TO BECOME A MEMBER

For Membership in the League of Grand Masters the following steps are required for a prospective 

candidate to be considered for membership into the League of Grand Masters.

Step 1:
    a) You must have the sponsorship from an existing member in the League of Grand Masters.
    b) You must be at least an Eighth (8th) Dan, awarded by a recognized Grand Master.
Step 2:
The following must be prepared and submitted for review by the League of Grand Masters:
          a) a completed application for membership
          b) copies of each Dan Certificate
          c) a Martial Arts resume, including dates of promotions, teaching, tests, tournaments, style and, federation
          d) a one page personal philosophy statement, describing what the Martial Arts signify and how the Martial Arts have changed and enriched the life of the candidate, as well as his/her teaching philosophy
          e) a recent photograph

STEP 3:
    a) The League of Grand 

Masters will review and evaluate the above information and will set a date and time to visit a class instructed by the 

prospective member.
STEP 4:
    a) The League of Grand Masters will set a date and time for an interview of the members by fellow League of Grand Masters.

NOTE:
Membership is not automatic and is entirely up to the discretion of the founding League of Grand Masters.
