Moo Duk Kwan History

I commenced training with Master Choon Bong Lee in 1975 and stayed with him for 18 years before transferring to one of his former teachers, Grand Master Jae Joon Kim.

When GM Kim passed away, I went under the banner of his Senior Instructor, Grand Master Boliard and have been under his guidance ever since.

Taekwondo History

Master Lee (now GM Lee) taught both Moo Duk Kwan and the World Taekwondo styles. When I parted company with him as stated above, I maintained my Moo Duk Kwan direction via GM Kim and I had Grand Master Chun Sul Suh as my Kukkiwon/Chung Do Kwan master until he sadly passed away last year so I am now aligned to his Grand Master, GK Hae Man Park.

Hapkido

I commenced under Grand Master Sung Soo Lee and his State appointed Instructors here in South Australia for many years then when he was no longer available for health reasons I moved on to Grand Master Ungdeok Yang, President of the World Hapkido-Self Defense Federation via his Head Instructor here in S.A., with whom I still train.

Other Interests.

I trained with a leading Kali Club here for many years and travelled to the Philippines with one of their equivalent Black Belts (they don't have a belt system as such) and trained at Caco Canyette's famed Cebu Headquarters.

I have also engaged in Seminars for Jujitsu and Aikido on numerous occasions.

On the Sports Aspects.

I am a qualified International Referee for WTF, a Referee Presenter, training State and Territory Presenters for Australia, and qualified as a Senior Poomsae Judge, Self Defence Judge and Breaking Judge.
